Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LVN/LPN license in Georgia.
• Experience with RAI/MDS processes in long-term care preferred.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and care planning is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current MDS status for each resident in accordance with laws and facility policies.
• Schedule and coordinate OBRA, Medicare PPS, and Medicaid assessments; communicate schedules.
• Monitor resident condition changes and coordinate MDS reassessments and plan updates.
• Strategically set ARD with the interdisciplinary team to reflect care needs.
• Complete MDS and CAAs accurately per policies and guidelines.
• Attend and coordinate daily Casemix Meetings, Utilization Review Meetings, and Triple Check Meetings.
• Transmit MDS data electronically to the state per regulations.
• Assist in surveys and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable rules.
