Job summary

Avir Vista is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator to join our family. The licensed MDS Coordinator will complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process for each resident, ensuring accurate transmission and verification with state authorities, and will lead a team in a supportive, family-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has Texas nursing license, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience in healthcare, with knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nursing License.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations as per Federal Register, CMPs and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident.
• Transmit and verify receipt of RAI submissions with State authorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing MDS team and culture.

The primary purpose is to complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, as required byState and Federal regulations. This includes transmission and verification of receipt by the State.

Qualifications for MDS Coordinator:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
