Job summary

AVIR Health Group seeks an MDS Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. This Part Time/PRN role centers on completing the RAI process for each resident and ensuring state transmission and verification.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Nursing License with CPR certification and have supervisory healthcare experience. You will build and lead a high-performing team and culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nursing License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards as set forth by Federal Register, COP and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident as required.

We are searching for a Part Time/PRN Licensed MDS Coordinator who is resident & family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team and culture. The primary purpose is to complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, as required by State and Federal regulations. This includes transmission and verification of receipt by the State.

Qualifications for MDS Coordinator:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
