Job summary

Acronis is seeking an MDR Analyst to strengthen our cyber protection capabilities in the United States. You will investigate incoming EDR/XDR incidents, triage severity, and execute remediation actions using established playbooks while documenting every step.

You will collaborate with AI engineering to test automated triage and response processes, own incidents from detection to resolution, and communicate clearly with customers about status and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in SOC, MDR, or security operations.
• Understanding of EDR/XDR workflows.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, AD, Linux.
• Experience with logs analysis in Kibana.
• Experience with security tools (EDR, SIEM, SOAR).
• Able to document findings per process.
• Growth mindset and strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incoming EDR/XDR incidents with triage and severity assessment.
• Execute remediation actions following playbooks.
• Document investigation steps and maintain case records.
• Collaborate with AI engineering to refine triage and response automation.
• Own incident from detection to resolution with senior support.
• Support development of automation and incident correlation logic.
• Communicate incident status and recommendations to customers by email/phone.
• Stay informed on threats and attacker techniques.
• Work 5-day/8-hour schedule in office hours with weekend coverage.
