Job summary

nuHarbor is seeking a Security Analyst, MxDR, to join our 24x7 delivery team responsible for triage, investigation, and disposition of security alerts across client environments. You will drive cases to evidence-based conclusions under time pressure, documenting findings for the next responder.

You'll work closely with MS Defender/Sentinel, perform incident response per playbooks, meet SLOs, tune detections, and communicate with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of cybersecurity/SOC or incident response experience.
• Demonstrated experience with SIEM solutions, SOC operations, and event triage.
• Experience with SIEM/XDR tools including Microsoft Sentinel or Defender.
• Proven ability to independently investigate and triage security events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents in Defender/Sentinel environments.
• Triage, classify, and escalate incidents with evidence-based documentation.
• Adhere to defined playbooks, client escalation plans, and response timelines.
