In this role, you will build the trusted data foundation that powers critical business decisions across Global Payments, enabling accurate customer and merchant insights, stronger risk and compliance outcomes, and more effective business operations. You will play a key role in designing, building, and integrating enterprise Master Data Management capabilities that establish a single source of truth across the enterprise, transforming fragmented customer and merchant data into trusted golden records. As part of a highly collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will influence enterprise-wide data strategy, support modernization initiatives, and contribute directly to Global Payments’ mission of delivering exceptional solutions that power commerce around the world. You will also contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement through sprint planning, user stories, DevOps practices, technical documentation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll own

  • Drive data quality and identity resolution outcomes by implementing matching, merging, survivorship, validation, standardization, cleansing, enrichment, confidence scoring, and monitoring processes that improve trust in enterprise data assets.
  • Build scalable integrations and data pipelines using APIs, ETL/ELT processes, integration hubs, connectors, and event‑driven architectures to seamlessly ingest, transform, and distribute trusted master data across enterprise platforms.
  • Develop stewardship and governance capabilities including stewardship workflows, lineage, data categorization, hierarchy management, and reference data controls that improve transparency, accountability, and trust in enterprise data.
  • Support enterprise modernization and migration initiatives through data migration, reconciliation, platform transition activities, validation testing, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen enterprise MDM capabilities.
  • Deliver operational excellence across the platform lifecycle by supporting solution design, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, documentation, and business user enablement.
What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience delivering enterprise Master Data Management solutions, including data modeling, match and merge, survivorship, stewardship workflows, golden record management, identity resolution, hierarchies, crosswalks, and reference data management.
  • Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling with experience designing scalable MDM solutions that support complex business and integration requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of core MDM concepts including golden records, entity resolution, survivorship, hierarchy management, crosswalks, stewardship, reference data, and data quality management.
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs, integration hubs, connectors, ETL/ELT pipelines, and event‑driven integration patterns that connect enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud‑based data platforms such as Snowflake to profile, validate, analyze, and optimize enterprise data assets.
  • Experience implementing data quality, standardization, validation, matching, enrichment, and identity resolution processes that improve accuracy, consistency, and completeness of enterprise data.
  • Demonstrated success translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with architects, product owners, governance teams, QA partners, business stakeholders, and data stewards.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, source control, sprint planning, user stories, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, production support, performance optimization, and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how master data supports enterprise processes, analytics, customer experience, AI readiness, compliance obligations, and downstream business outcomes.
