Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Owner for Master Data Management within the Chief Data and Analytics Office. You will guide engineering teams, prioritize the backlog and drive data-domain initiatives across enterprise/customer data domains.

The role requires strong product management, SQL ability, and Agile experience to align business goals with technology delivery, while collaborating with stakeholders and QA to ensure quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain alignment on the product vision, roadmap and strategy with stakeholders.
• Translate problems and needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Develop understanding of goals to inform priorities and improvements with business teams.
• Engage cross-functionally with stakeholders, architects and development teams to build capabilities.
• Analyze data quality and derive insights to increase business value.
• Lead backlog refinement to keep a prioritized backlog of features.
• Continuously refine backlog items balancing value, feasibility and dependencies.
• Support scrum master and development teams to navigate roadblocks.
• Collaborate with QA to review test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain documentation on shared file systems.
