Job summary

EY is seeking a Functional Architect to lead the delivery of client engagements in MDM for Oracle Utilities. You will translate client requirements into working solutions, mentor teams, and contribute to building an inclusive, high-performing EY culture.

You will collaborate with clients at executive levels, drive design workshops, manage risks, and guide data conversion and interface work. A strong background in Oracle Utilities and change management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• In depth understanding of the Meter Data Management functions
• 5–10+ years of successful Oracle Utilities implementations
• Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework
• Proven Oracle Utilities product implementation knowledge
• Proven ability to work with customers across departments and levels
• Proven track record of business change management; strong communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of IT and business consulting practices
• Superior skills in analysis, facilitation, change management and problem solving
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to identify and document business needs and opportunities
• Plans and manages fact-finding and analysis sessions
• Designs and configures application software
• Analyzes requirements and determines solution parameters and specifications
• Leads design process and workshops
• Manages functional scope to reduce risks for client and EY
• Performs business process analysis for successful roll-out
• Leads focus areas: Functional, Interfaces, Business Process Change Management
• Coordinates planning, workshops, and deliverables
• Builds functional designs for RICE objects
• Documents gaps requiring custom algorithms and plug-ins
• Configures base system and assists with testing of configurations and RICE objects
• Authors interface, data conversion strategies and mapping plans
• Supports data conversion strategy and client project core team
• Ensures project documentation is up to date
• Assesses assumptions and re-estimates efforts as needed
• Identifies risks/issues and assists mitigation
