Job summary

Spectrum Brands Holdings is seeking a Global MDM Data Analyst to support our transformation to globally harmonized data standards and robust governance. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, master data management, and extensive Excel work within an office environment in California.

You will develop dashboards in Power BI, perform data audits, and collaborate with domain leads to close data gaps while improving data quality and reporting for business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Data Science, or relevant disciplines required.
• 3-6 years of experience in Master Data Management or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience with Visual Analytics tools (Power BI).
• 2+ years of experience in supporting SAP Implementation and/or Master Data Management (MDM).

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and analyze master data within the organization.
• Develop reporting solutions to improve decisions for the organization and design and produce user-friendly intelligence reporting, business metrics, reports, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Support MDM Team in building out leading practice approach to manage reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data integrity by performing routine monthly audits to check for completeness, conformity, and consistency.
• Develop and document processes with support of Domain Leaders to create business processes for operational governance.
• Develop and maintain cross stream metrics.
• Partner and effectively communicate with domain leads on identified gaps and focus areas.
• Assist in the creation of Data Cleansing files for the business owners on a pre-defined schedule or as needed.
• Update Cleansing Tracker weekly to ensure forward progress in cleansing initiatives.
• Administer and maintain MDM dashboards and data visualization within the PowerBI tool.
• Collaborate with MDM Domain Leads to maintain content within MDM SharePoint Library: MDM Data Dictionary, M&A Playbook, Users support/Training, Issue troubleshooting and resolution.
• Support implementation of SAP S4/HANA and MDG Hub2 as needed.
• Validate Pre-Load data sets, Class & Characteristics for SAP Item Master.
• Validate Post-Load data sets, Class & Characteristics for SAP Item Master.
