Job summary

COMHAR, Inc. is seeking an MDE Evaluator to conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for infants and toddlers, enabling eligibility for Early Intervention Services. You will support families in implementing assessment-based plans and ensuring timely reporting to guide services and outcomes.

The role is per diem and in-person in the Philadelphia area, requiring travel as needed and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote child development and family supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early intervention or related field plus 1 year full-time experience (as described)
• Experience working with infants/toddlers and their families in early intervention settings is preferred
• Valid driver's license and vehicle preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly supports children and families in various settings, including travel as needed
• Gathers and completes the IDA assessment in the child's natural environment to finalize evaluation reports
• Participates in developing the IFSP and communicates plans with the team while maintaining confidentiality
• Coordinates assessment processes to determine outcomes, needs, and capabilities of children
• Assists in identifying, securing, and using needed equipment and therapies to implement each child's plan
• Ensures evaluations are entered into the system within 24 hours
