Job summary

GovSG in Huntsville, AL seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to join the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts, including engaging in C2BMC technical engineering and integration, future concepts, and multinational exchange designs.

This is an on-site position in Huntsville, AL, with duties spanning interoperability engineering, baseline development, and product evaluations to support future spirals and mission success.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Master’s Degree in STEM is required.
• Knowledge of C2BMC interoperability requirements or related experience is required.
• Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.
• Apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations.
• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within a collaborative environment with Government and contractors in a badge-less setting.
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, or C3BM Program Office work.

Responsibilities

GovSG is looking for a proven Principal Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts to include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.

This is an on-site position in Huntsville, AL.

Position Duties:

• Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/DCC, DCC contractors, and MDS Elements.
• Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications, requirements, and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
• Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/DCC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Required:

Salary:

$145,000-165,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
