Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an MD500 A&P Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ. This hands-on role involves maintaining MD500 aircraft, performing inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and readiness of aircraft.

Ideal candidates hold an A&P certification, have MD500 experience, and are able to lift up to 50 pounds. Relocation to Phoenix 85027 is required; travel up to 25% may be needed. Benefits include medical coverage, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Hold an A&P certification and applicable FAA credentials.
• Experience with MD500 systems and tools preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to relocate to Phoenix, AZ 85027.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on MD500 aircraft.
• Work closely with technicians to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow applicable FAA regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and completed work.
• Identify mechanical issues and apply effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Support aircraft readiness by completing assigned maintenance tasks accurately and within established timelines.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a professional maintenance team.
