Job summary

Qualifications

• 23+ years of active aircraft maintenance experience.
• Airframe certification required; A&P license preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations (Parts 43, 65, 91, 121, 135, 145).
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and electrical systems on commercial aircraft.
• Ability to read AMM, IPC, and Structural Repair Manuals.
• Proficiency in aircraft maintenance, heavy maintenance, line maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, and periodic inspections on airframes and engines.
• Remove, service, repair, and replace defective components using standard tools.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, landing gear, fuel, avionics, and electrical systems to identify root causes.
• Log maintenance actions, part numbers, serial numbers, and inspection findings in records.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with FOD prevention policies.
• Coordinate with materials to order and track serialized components.
• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment (GSE) to ensure safe operation.
• Verify work performed by junior technicians for compliance.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom trucks, and tug vehicles as needed.
• Lead team marshaling and towing of aircraft with ground tugs and wing-walkers.
• Complete regulatory training and type-specific updates.
• Apply hangar safety, hazardous material handling, and FOD prevention in daily tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities during tight turnaround windows.
• Perform other duties to support safe, compliant operations.
