Job summary

HeliService Powerline Solutions in Apopka, FL is seeking an entry level A&P Field Mechanic to support maintenance of our MD500 helicopter fleet used in powerline construction and maintenance. Relocation is not required.

You will train in our facilities for about six months, develop hands-on aviation maintenance skills, and progress to a Field Mechanic role after the training period. FAA A&P license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA A&P license.
• Will train in one of our facilities for a minimum of 6 months.
• This position progresses to a Field Mechanic after training.
• MD500D/E/F experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the MD500 helicopter fleet.
• Support field operations for powerline construction and maintenance.
• Work in a training environment during the initial period.

Description

Heliservice, LLC is looking for an entry level A&P Field Mechanic to help currently maintain our fleet of MD500 helicopters supporting powerline construction and maintenance. Relocation is not necessary.

Job Requirements:

Aircraft: MD500D, MD500E, MD500F

• Must be able to work in a training environment, be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be detail orientated.
• Will be required to train in one of our facility’s for a minimum of 6 months (time can vary depending on individual)
• This position is to progress to a Field Mechanic position after the training period
• Valid FAA A&P license required
• MD500 experience preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam
