Job summary

Bank of Montreal (BMO) seeks a Managing Director, Cyber & Technology Risk to lead a growing portfolio focused on independent oversight and evolution of the Bank's cyber and technology risk posture. The role centers on cybersecurity risk with broad technology risk accountability and transformation leadership across North America.

You will govern risk standards, provide credible challenge to senior management, and guide risk-based decision making in a regulated enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 15+ years cybersecurity experience with 5+ years leading teams.
• Strong governance and risk oversight capabilities.
• Experience with 2LOD and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight and challenge across cyber and technology risk.
• Lead governance and reporting for cyber risk at executive and board levels.
• Develop and mature risk models, KPIs/KRIs, and assessment techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across ERPM and lines of business to advance risk posture.
