Job summary

The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is seeking a Physician to diagnose and treat a broad range of diseases in a community health center setting. You will provide outpatient medical services to individuals and families and supervise medical assistants in clinical skills and competency verification.

In some sites you may serve as lab director for CLIA-waived tests performed in the clinic, contributing to patient care continuity and quality in a collaborative, community-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in a specific medical specialty or completed residency and Board Eligible.
• Must be licensed in the State of Hawaii.

SITE LOCATION: ADULT MEDICINE & PEDIATRICS (MAIN CAMPUS WAIANAE)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a community health center model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis, and may provide a continuum of care into inpatient and/or residential settings; responsible for medical assistant (MA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the Mas clinical skills and competency. Additionally, at certain sites, the physician may serve as lab director for CLIA waived tests performed in the clinic.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in a specific medical specialty or have completed residency and be Board Eligible
• Must be licensed in the State of Hawaii
