Job summary

Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is seeking a physician to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases in a community health center model, providing outpatient care and continuity of service for individuals and families.

The role includes MA supervision, credential verification of clinical skills, and, at certain sites, potential lab-director duties for CLIA-waived tests.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in a medical specialty or completed residency and Board Eligible.
• Licensed to practice in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in a community health center setting.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis.
• Supervise MA clinical skills and verify competency.
• May serve as lab director for CLIA waived tests when applicable.

The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a community health center model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis, and may provide a continuum of care into inpatient and/or residential settings; responsible for medical assistant (MA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the Mas clinical skills and competency. Additionally, at certain sites, the physician may serve as lab director for CLIA waived tests performed in the clinic.
