Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services, LLC seeks an MCST Trainer to support the ARNG Mission Command Training Program. This full-time, non-exempt hourly role involves developing Training Support Packages, delivering formal classroom instruction, and providing over-the-shoulder support for Mission Command Systems.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 4+ years in Army/defense service, SME on Mission Command Systems, and Army doctrine certification. Office-based with travel across the US as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
• Subject Matter Expertise on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs).
• Completion of a course of study leading to experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs).
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events.
• Develop Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within TOC, CP and warfighter cells based on user specifications.
• Develop and adapt training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Develop training environments unique to unit training requirements and manage setup, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Deliver single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with MTC TSPs.
• Support Army Mission Command capabilities including CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, JADOCS.
• Maintain/update MCS courseware documentation aligned with PM TSPs.
• Report to MCST Trainer Lead.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Valiant is looking for a MCST Trainer to join our team! This position is a fulltime Non-Exempt hourly position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is responsible for MCIS training for the Mission Training Complex to include the development of Training Support Packages (TSPs), formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and systems integration for MTC driven individual and collective events as well as integrating requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC) .

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• MCIS trainers will conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training duringcollective training events.
• Responsible for Developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Command Post (CP) and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications architectures based on user or system design specifications.
• Develops and adapts training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required.
• Delivers single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
• Must support US Army Mission Command capabilities which include but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ACSF, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, and JADOCS.
• MCIStrainers will maintain/update Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) courseware documentation, which is closely aligned with each PM system TSP's.
• Reports directly to the MCST Trainer Lead.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Secret

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma (AA/AS preferred).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and has operated the system(s).
• Completion of a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and software systems.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position: Office environment, occasionally outdoors. Occasional exposure to natural conditions existing at different locationsaround the US.

Work Week: Monday-Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)

Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements)

Overtime: As Required
