Solution One Industries is seeking a dedicated MCST Trainer to support the ARNG Mission Command Training Program in Fort Chaffee, AR. The role covers MCIS training, development of Training Support Packages, formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder support, and integrating LVCG+MC assets for realistic events.

The ideal candidate has SME on Mission Command Systems, Army doctrine certification, a High School Diploma (AA/AS preferred), and at least 2 years teaching Mission Command Systems

Qualifications

• SME on Army Mission Command Systems and operation of the systems.
• Course of study showing experience with Army Mission Command Systems and software.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel across locations in the US.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective events.
• Develop Tactics, Techniques and Procedures for MC systems.
• Design voice/data system architectures for unit collaboration within TOC/CP.
• Develop training materials for Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Set up/configure systems, test, troubleshoot, and modify as required.
• Deliver single and multi-echelon collective training per MCST Tsps.
• Maintain/update Army Mission Command Systems courseware documentation.

About the Position

This position is a full-time Non-Exempt hourly position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is responsible for MCIS training for the Mission Training Complex to include the development of Training Support Packages (TSPs), formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and systems integration for MTC driven individual and collective events as well as integrating requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC).

Required Skills/Abilities

• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and has operated the system(s).
• Completion of a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and software systems.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.
• Office environment, occasionally outdoors. Occasional exposure to natural conditions existing at different locations around the US.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Qualifications: Duties/Responsibilities

• MCIS trainers will conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events.
• Responsible for Developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Command Post (CP) and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications architectures based on user or system design specifications.
• Develops and adapts training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required.
• Delivers single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC Tsps.
• Must support US Army Mission Command capabilities which include but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, icsf, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, and JADOCS.
• MCIS trainers will maintain/update Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) courseware documentation, which is closely aligned with each PM system TSP's.
• Reports directly to the MCST Trainer Lead.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma (AA/AS preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ Mission Command Systems teaching experience; serving as assistant instructor for the same courseware.
• Minimum 4 years’ service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
