Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services, LLC in Boise, Idaho seeks an MCST Trainer to deliver MCIS training, develop training support packages and provide classroom, OTS, and live/virtual instruction for Mission Command Systems.

Candidates should have Army experience, a Secret clearance, and the ability to work in an office environment with occasional travel. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mission Command Systems teaching experience.
• 4+ years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
• Subject Matter Expert on one or more Mission Command Systems.
• Completion of training leading to experience with Army Mission Command Systems and software.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events.
• Develop Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for staff collaboration and information sharing.
• Develop and adapt training materials to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Create training environments and perform setup, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and modification.
• Deliver single and multi-echelon collective training per MTC TSPs.
• Support Army Mission Command capabilities including CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ICU, IADOCS.
• Maintain/update MCS courseware aligned with PM system TSPs.
• Report to MCST Trainer Lead.

Valiant is looking for a MCST Trainer to join our team!

This position is a fulltime Non-Exempt hourly position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is responsible for MCIS training for the Mission Training Complex to include the development of Training Support Packages (TSPs), formal classroom instruction, over-the-shoulder (OTS) support, and systems integration for MTC driven individual and collective events as well as integrating requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• MCIS trainers will conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training duringcollective training events.
• Responsible for Developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of MC systems.
• Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Command Post (CP) and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications architectures based on user or system design specifications.
• Develops and adapts training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
• Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required.
• Delivers single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
• Must support US Army Mission Command capabilities which include but not limited to CPOF, FBCB2, BFT/BFT2, JCR, JBC-P, DCGS-A, TIGR, GCCSA, ICU, IADOCS.
• MCIStrainers will maintain/update Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) courseware documentation, which is closely aligned with each PM system TSP's.
• Reports directly to the MCST Trainer Lead.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, AA/AS preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+years of Mission Command Systems teaching experience; serving as assistant instructor for the same courseware.
• 4+ years of service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and has operated the system(s).
• Completion of a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and software systems.
• Certified and current with Army training doctrine.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position: Office environment, occasionally outdoors. Occasional exposure to natural conditions existing at different locationsaround the US.

Work Week: Monday-Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)

Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements)

Overtime: As Required

Travel:As Required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
