Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the O.R. schedule.
• Consult in various patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge.
• Serve as a clinical resource for problem solving and assist staff with patient-related issues and emergency situations.
• Collaborate with other departments and patient care services such as Post-Anesthesia Care, Biomed, Facilities Engineering, and Anesthesia to facilitate case progression and ensure quality nursing care.
• Serve as a role model and assist in developing staff competence based on national standards and hospital policies.
• Identify non-compliance and demonstrate correct application of policies and procedures.
• Assist in cost management, including product evaluation, inventory management, room turnover, and utilization.

Pay Range

$36.96 - $53.60 per hour
