Qualifications

• Infirmier(ère) autorisé(e) avec minimum 2 ans d'expérience en salle d'opération.
• Certifié(e) BLS.
• Capacité à coordonner le programme O.R. et à servir de ressource clinique.

Responsibilities

• Assister à la coordination du programme O.R. et résoudre des situations de soins aux patients.
• Collaborer avec les départements et services de soins aux patients pour assurer les exigences et la qualité des soins.
• Former et encadrer le personnel en matière de soins infirmiers conformes aux normes nationales.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years of operating room experience
• BLS Certification

Qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating the O.R. schedule
• Consult on a variety of patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge
• Serve as a clinical resource for problem-solving and assist staff with patient-related issues and emergency situations
• Collaborate with other departments and patient care services such as Post-Anesthesia Care, Biomed, Facilities Engineering, and Anesthesia to facilitate case progression and ensure special requirements and quality nursing care for patients
• Serve as a role model and assist in developing staff competence in delivering nursing care based on national standards and hospital policies
• Identify non-compliance and demonstrate correct application of hospital policies and procedures; refer to Policy and Procedure Manual as necessary for problem-solving
• Assist in cost management, including participation in product evaluation, inventory management, room turnover, and utilization
