Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the O.R. schedule
• Consult in patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge
• Serve as a clinical resource for problem solving and assist staff with patient-related issues and emergencies
• Collaborate with departments such as Post-Anesthesia Care, Biomed, Facilities Engineering, and Anesthesia to facilitate case progression and ensure quality nursing care
• Serve as a role model and assist in developing staff competence based on professional standards and policies
• Identify non-compliance and apply hospital policies and procedures correctly
• Assist in cost management, including product evaluation, inventory management, room turnover, and utilization

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years of operating room experience
• BLS Certification
