Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated MCCB Continuous Engineer to drive product improvements and support manufacturing and quality initiatives from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

You will lead verification and validation efforts, apply structured problem‑solving techniques, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure compliance, performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, physics, or related technical field.
• 3–6 years in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or electromechanical product development.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawing creation.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with product testing and evaluation methods per UL, CSA, NOM, IEC, CCC, and ANSI.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes: metal stamping, thermoplastic molding, thermoset molding.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within North America, including US and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the North American PowerPacT MCCB product portfolio.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans for product compliance and performance.
• Apply root cause analysis methods (5 Whys, 8D, RCA, Fishbone) to resolve issues.
• Lead and support validation of FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION REPORTS and Pilot Run reviews.
• Support NA Global Supply Chain facilities with technical guidance and product compliance.
