Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an in-person MCAT instructor to deliver structured MCAT preparation sessions across various regional locations in the United States. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tailor content that meets student needs and prepare future doctors using curated curricula and proven teaching methods.

The role emphasizes student engagement, critical thinking across sciences, and completion of ongoing professional training, while allowing remote collaboration

Qualifications

• MCAT score above 515
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals
• Ability to respond to quickly changing needs with agility and flexibility
• Travel required; locations and dates determined by business needs and availability
• Eligible candidates include current medical students, gap-year graduates, upper-level undergraduates preparing for medical school applications, Master’s graduates, PhD candidates, or post-doctoral researchers

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person MCAT preparation sessions across multiple regional locations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tailor MCAT prep and content to student needs
• Prepare future doctors for the MCAT using proven teaching methods and curated curricula
• Support students in and out of class to foster critical thinking across sciences
• Complete professional training, coaching, and development
• Connect with colleagues remotely while training from home
