Job summary

Kaplan North America is seeking an MCAT Prep Instructor to join our Detroit/Ann Arbor area teaching team. You will deliver in-person MCAT sessions, adapt the curriculum, and support students striving for medical school admission success.

Ideal candidates are current medical students or graduates with strong MCAT scores, enjoy mentoring, and are comfortable traveling between regional sites. Training is provided, and part-time schedules offer flexibility.

Qualifications

Scores above 515 on the MCAT.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work independently with a remote manager.
Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Respond to quickly changing needs with agility and flexibility.
Travel required; lead time, locations and dates determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

Teach in-person MCAT preparation sessions across a variety of regional locations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver MCAT content tailored to student needs.
Prepare students for the exam using a curated curriculum and MCAT language.
Support students in and out of class, enabling problem solving with critical thinking.
Continue to learn via professional training, coaching, and development.
