Position Description

The Security Engineer serves as the security engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment; is comfortable with bridging the gap between legacy development or operations teams and working toward a shared culture and vision; works to ensure developers create the most secure systems while enhancing the privacy of all system users; and has experience with white-hat hacking and fundamental computer science concepts. The Security Engineer will perform security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews; develop and implement technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities; and conduct research to identify new attack vectors.

Skills Required

Will possess knowledge and experience in safeguarding sensitive data from cyber-attacks.

Skills Preferred

Possess knowledge and experience with all McAfee/MVision products such as native encryption, FRP, HIPS, DLP, Move, TIE, ATD, ATP, ENS, Firewall, Web Control, Application Control, and VSE engines. Architect, deploy and support McAfee products in AWS, Azure, and Google cloud environments. Generating reports using APIs.

Experience Required

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Experience Preferred

Minimum five (5) years working experience with building McAfee dashboards for management visibility and health detection. Install and upgrade agents on servers, workstations, and virtual desktops, defining and implementing policies and tuning up the policies to protect from newly identified threats without disrupting server/workstation operations. Understanding of security protocols – SSL, IPSE, ACL, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, POP3, and security policies. Expertise in policy development and implementation. Experience in tuning up the policies to protect from newly identified threats without disrupting server/workstation operations. Experience with architecture and administration of McAfee/MVision products: HIPS, DLP, MOVE, TIE, ATD, ATP, ENS, Firewall, Web Control, Application Control, native drive encryption, drive and removable media encryption, etc. Hands-on experience of ePO Architecture and Administration and Malware endpoint protection platform in an organization with over 5000 users.

Education Required

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
