Job description

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Security Administrator. This role is with a shipping company based in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The contract duration is 6+ months with possible extension/conversion.



Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain IT Security applications and systems
  
  Develop documentation for installing, supporting, and troubleshooting IT Security systems


• Work with enterprise architects, developers, and support staff to design optimal security practices when developing new application requirements


• Mitigate security risks associated with systems and applications, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business


• Interpret business requirements and functional specifications to recommend application security requirements and solutions


• Communicate technical application security concepts to business users, developers, architects, and managers


• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, concepts, and methodologies


• Ability to interact with technical managers and development teams to articulate application requirements


• Knowledge of application security, technical controls and common vulnerabilities


• Work in a senior-level application support role, and train junior staff as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required or relevant experience preferred


• Security experience with endpoint, email, and web security tools and technologies


• Experience with access management and active directory.


• Administration experience with an Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool, strong preference for BeyondTrust


• 5+ years actual Cybersecurity experience


• Experience supporting and administering enterprise-level applications


• Experience in PCI compliance, or similar compliance frameworks


• Experience with Cloud and hybrid Cloud / On-premises security designs


• Experience in a large enterprise corporate environment


• Requires travel to branch and international locations


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification preferred


• Experience with Azure


• Experience supporting more than one of the following tools: Active Directory, BeyondTrust, IBM QRadar, Proofpoint, SentinelOne, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Zscaler

Compensation: $65- $81/hr W2
