Life Enrichment Coordinator – Memory Care

We are seeking a passionate and motivated full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator for our Memory Care unit. If you have a background in Recreational Therapy and a genuine love for working with seniors with cognitive impairments, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, therapeutic, and recreational activities tailored to residents’ cognitive and physical abilities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes socialization, mental clarity, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with care staff to assess residents’ needs and preferences, ensuring personalized activity plans
• Coordinate entertainment, social events, and mental stimulation programs to enhance residents’ quality of life
• Monitor and document residents’ participation and progress, adjusting activities as needed
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities and interactions

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Recreational Therapy or a related field, preferably within senior or memory care settings
• Strong understanding of cognitive impairments and effective engagement strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and motivating approach
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead diverse activities for seniors with varying needs
• Certification or training in Recreational Therapy, Activity Coordination, or related disciplines is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and foster positive relationships with residents and families
