Job summary

Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay is seeking a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator for Memory Care. You will design and lead engaging activities that fit residents' cognitive and physical needs, promoting socialization and well-being in a warm, memory care environment.

Collaborate with care staff, document participation, and adjust plans to enrich residents' daily lives while maintaining safety and compassion for families and staff in a Florida senior living community.

Qualifications

We are seeking a passionate and motivated full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator for our Memory Care unit. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, therapeutic, and recreational activities tailored to residents' cognitive and physical abilities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes socialization, mental clarity, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with care staff to assess residents' needs and preferences, ensuring personalized activity plans
• Coordinate entertainment, social events, and mental stimulation programs to enhance residents' quality of life
• Monitor and document residents' participation and progress, adjusting activities as needed
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities and interactions

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Recreational Therapy or a related field, preferably within senior or memory care settings
• Strong understanding of cognitive impairments and effective engagement strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and motivating approach
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead diverse activities for seniors with varying needs
• Certification or training in Recreational Therapy, Activity Coordination, or related disciplines is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and foster positive relationships with residents and families
