Job summary

KBR seeks an experienced MBSE Systems Engineer to support a Department of War program, using Model-Based Systems Engineering and digital engineering practices. You will develop, manage, and analyze architecture models across the lifecycle, aligning with DoD frameworks and acquisition processes.

The role includes mentoring engineers and advancing MBSE maturity within the program. You will collaborate with leadership, customers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve architectural understanding,

Qualifications

• Active security clearance eligibility for Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline.
• 5–12 years of Systems Engineering and MBSE experience across the lifecycle.
• Experience with SysML/UML architectures using Cameo or comparable tools.
• Experience with DoDAF architecture products, requirements traceability, and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage SysML/UML architecture models.
• Lead requirements engineering activities across the lifecycle.
• Establish modeling standards, conventions, and governance processes.
