Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an MBSE Systems Engineer to support a Department of War program using SysML, UML, and digital engineering practices.

This role develops, maintains, and analyzes architecture models across the lifecycle, from requirements development through design, verification, and validation, in a collaborative engineering environment. You will work with senior engineers and stakeholders to improve traceability, documentation, and model-based decision making, contributing to mission-critical

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance or eligible to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems/Software/Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• 1–5 years in MBSE and systems lifecycle activities.
• Experience with SysML/UML modeling tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, etc.).
• Experience producing technical documentation and architecture descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update system architecture models using SysML/UML.
• Support requirements engineering activities including capture, decomposition, allocation, validation, and traceability.
• Develop functional, logical, and physical architecture models for analysis, design, and integration.
• Generate views, diagrams, reports, and artifacts for reviews and program deliverables.
• Assist with model configuration management and repositories using TeamWork Cloud.
