Job summary

Zel Technologies LLC seeks experienced engineers to design, develop, integrate, and test advanced electrical/electronic systems for unmanned systems (UxS). On-site support includes prototype integration, field support, and test activities.

The role emphasizes system architectures, vehicle/power control, sensor integration, and MBSE-driven development across government and industry projects. Strong digital engineering and SysML tool use are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience applying MBSE to architecture, requirements, and integration.
• Ability to develop and maintain system models with MBSE tools.
• Familiarity with digital engineering and model-centric workflows.
• Experience generating system views and interface definitions with SysML tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical/electronic system architecture design for UxS platforms.
• Lead design and development of vehicle control, power, and sensor integration.
• Support development of control and distribution systems and interfaces.
• Oversee integration with mechanical, software, and comms subsystems.
• Prepare technical docs, SOWs, cost estimates, and technical research.
• Plan and conduct hardware development adapting vendor hardware.
• Report project status, risks, expenditures, and progress.
