Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an Associate Systems Engineer to join the ORCA Group in San Diego. You will contribute to model-based system engineering efforts, MBSE modeling, data analysis, and performance assessments for DoD programs.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree, up to 3 years of experience, and the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret with SCI access; on-site work in San Diego is required. This role offers growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in San Diego, CA at SPA and client sites.
• 0–3 years professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of the performance of DoW programs and systems.
• Conduct data collection and specification reviews.
• Assist in the design and develop system-of-systems MBSE models using MBSE tools.
• Perform post-processing data analysis and interpretation.
• Assist in the preparation of deliverables including presentations and reports.
• Participate in customer meetings and briefings.
