Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a junior-level MBSE Analyst to support on-site in San Diego, CA with the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) and Space Security & Defense Program (SSDP).

The role focuses on MBSE model creation, translating requirements into models, and contributing to DoD program analyses. You will work within the ORCA Group to apply MBSE principles and tools while collaborating with a team to deliver assessments, briefings, and deliverables for government

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
2+ years MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools.
Experience modeling with SysML or UML.
Understanding of object–oriented principles in programming or systems engineering.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Must have DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

Create digital MBSE representations of systems and architectures using SysML rules.
Translate requirements into parametrized structural and behavioral models.
Analyze performance of DoD programs using modeling tools.
Evaluate metrics across multiple courses of action.
Collect data and perform specification reviews.
Prepare deliverables, presentations, and written reports.
