Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a junior MBSE Analyst to support SWAC and SSDP on site in San Diego, CA.

You will create model-based representations that follow SysML/UML, translate requirements, and contribute to DoD program analyses. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools, strong written and oral communication, the ability to work independently or in a team, and the clearance to obtain TS/SCI access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• At least 2 years of MBSE industry experience with Cameo or similar modeling tools.
• Experience modeling systems with SysML/UML.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and engineering principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Current DoD TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Create digital model-based representations adhering to SysML syntax and conventions.
• Translate requirements into parametrized structural and behavioral models.
• Analyze DoD programs and systems using modeling and simulation tools.
• Evaluate metrics across courses of action and assist in deliverables.
• Participate in customer meetings and briefings.
