Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a senior Systems Engineer specializing in MBSE with CAMEO to architect and implement models for Space Force requirements. You will work within the Defense Systems Group, collaborating with Pentagon teams and government customers to shape space architectures and MBSE practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field required.
• 8+ years in systems engineering or space-related disciplines.
• Proficiency with MBSE modeling languages and CAMEO tooling.
• Familiarity with space requirements documents (CDD/ICD) preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically <10% and obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Aerospace’s primary point-of-contact for digital transformation to Space Force requirements.
• Advise HQSF S5/8 on MBSE usage, including CAMEO and modeling tools.
• Create exemplar models and systems to aid the transition to a digital Space Force.
• Train Aerospace ETG, program office, and government customers on CAMEO and MBSE practices.
• Share MBSE knowledge and lessons learned across Aerospace communities of interest.
• Support other CAMEO-MBSE projects and knowledge transfer as needed.
