Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Cameo MBSE engineer to update and refine the HEL-LWS model for the Navy program. You will work on top‑level to component level structures, and create BDDS/IBDs as well as behavior diagrams and system requirement tables.

Role requires 3+ years using Cameo for MBSE and naval weapons systems, plus experience with Jira, Zephyr and Confluence for requirements and reporting. On‑site work in Dahlgren, VA with security clearance potential.

Qualifications

• BS in System Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years using Cameo Systems Modeler for MBSE and architecture modeling.
• 3+ years Systems Engineering with Naval weapons systems.
• Experience with Jira/Zephyr/Confluence for requirements and testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-882 safety processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Refine and manage the HEL-LWS Cameo model across top-level and subsystem structures.
• Develop BDds, IBDs, Activity, Sequence, and State diagrams and system requirements tables.
• Ensure model traceability and alignment with program documentation and architecture.
• Integrate Jira requirements and ensure traceability between requirements, behaviors, and model elements.
• Support safety artifacts using Cameo 882 Plug-in and HTS data integration.
