Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to lead the MBSE transformation for a national security program. You will architect and guide SysML/DoDAF models, working with ONI and other government stakeholders to synchronize DoDAF views and C2 system representations.

Role involves on-site support in Suitland, MD, collaboration with senior engineers, and delivering artifacts that support threat analysis and enterprise-level systems modeling.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or science with 5+ years of experience in MBSE and system modeling.
• Experience creating SysML artifacts and DoDAF views for real-world defense systems.
• Clearance: TS/SCI adjudicated and polygraph preferred; able to work with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site MBSE support at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) in Suitland, MD.
• Develop high-fidelity SysML architecture models focused on foreign missile and C2 systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain DoDAF-compliant system views and SysML artifacts.
• Collaborate with government leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on modeling and requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical and design documentation for system development and analysis.
• Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment.
