Job summary

Peraton is actively seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD to accelerate MBSE-driven analysis for national security programs. You will shape system architectures, develop SysML artifacts, and collaborate with government leads across agencies to enable faster, more integrated DoDAF views and C2 modeling.

The role requires MBSE expertise, DoDAF experience, and a TS/SCI clearance to work with sensitive intelligence systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
• Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
• Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
• Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site MBSE support at the Office of Naval Intelligence.
• Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts.
• Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis.
• Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment
