Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team developing and governing systems engineering tools and processes for a digital thread and MBSE-driven lifecycle.

The role focuses on cross-domain tool integration, requirements management, lifecycle management, configuration management, and development assurance, with responsibility for a 10–15 engineer team and a strategic roadmap. Excellent leadership and communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• At least 8 years of direct systems engineering experience in aerospace or similar complex field.
• Experience leading 10-15 engineers.
• Experience implementing MBSE, digital thread and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-domain digital integration spanning MBSE, requirements, lifecycle and configuration management.
• Define processes for digital integration and development assurance per ARP4754.
• Capture best practices and implement updated processes and toolsets.
• Define tools to enable data-driven workflows, MBSE, and automated doc generation.
• Drive AI integration into work processes and tools.
• Shape strategic roadmap with senior director.
• Collaborate with architecture and analysis teams to deploy solutions.
• Write work instructions and provide training.
• Support cross-Aero transformation activities.
• Lead and develop staff to achieve objectives.
