Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace systems, MBSE, and/or Systems Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of Army Rotorcraft design, maintenance, systems/subsystems, and military airworthiness qualification processes.
• Demonstrated experience executing systems engineering processes, including system-level reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and technical risk management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead technical meetings and present complex data to military leadership and OEM contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support for MBSE/Architecture IPT, including developing meeting agendas, briefings, action items, and minutes; coordinate with OEM.
• Present technical briefings, support trade studies, and provide overall technical and engineering support for weapon systems and subsystems; lead technical interchange meetings with OEM and sub-vendors.
• Utilize model-based environments for OEM CDRL reviews, including requirements, verification, hazard assessments, system safety, architecture, maintenance analysis, and interface design.
• Provide comprehensive engineering support for air vehicle development across Milestone reviews (SRR/SFR, PDRs, CDRs, FCA, SVR, PCA, FRR) and materiel release activities; support modeling, simulation, and survivability verification.
• Plan and execute architecture-related activities, including documentation reviews, OEM architecture design reviews, validation, verification, testing, and production; coordinate with FLRAA OEMs to ensure adherence to architecture requirements.
• Support mission systems engineering from preliminary to detail design, architecture validation & verification, and subsystems support.
• Ensure Weapon System architecture meets FAF requirements and data rights for Government Purpose Rights; mitigate restricted rights protections to support MOSA acquisitions.
