Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Cameo MBSE Systems Engineer to refine and manage the HEL-LWS architecture for Navy programs in Dahlgren, VA. You will develop and maintain top-level and subsystem models, ensuring traceability from requirements to tests and design documentation.

Responsibilities include integrating Jira/Zephyr/Confluence with Cameo, supporting safety artifacts with MIL-STD-882, and collaborating with Navy stakeholders to mature digital engineering workflows and technical baselines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Systems/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering, Physics) or closely related field.
• 3+ years using Cameo Systems Modeler for MBSE, including architecture development and requirements modeling.
• 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting Naval weapons systems.
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence) and MIL-STD-882 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and refine HEL-LWS Cameo model across top-level, subsystem, and component levels.
• Develop and maintain BDDs, IBDs, Activity, Sequence, and State diagrams, and system requirements tables.
• Ensure model traceability and alignment with architecture and program documentation.
