Job summary

Neptune in Alabama seeks a hands-on MBOM Structure, Routing & Data Governance specialist to translate EBOMs into production-ready MBOMs and audit data in SAP. You will create, review, and maintain BOMs/MBOMs and routings, including operation sequences, work centers, and process steps.

Manage alternative configurations across plants and ensure alignment with drawings and shop-floor processes. Collaborate with R&D, Production Planners, and Finance on cost roll-ups, standard costing, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years in manufacturing creating/maintaining BOMs/MBOMs and routings.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred (Oracle/Infor also considered).
• Strong reading of drawings and background in time studies.

Responsibilities

• Translate EBOMs into production-ready MBOMs and audit data in SAP or ERP.
• Create, review, and maintain BOMs/MBOMs and routings, including operations.
• Manage alternative and variant BOM configurations across plants/locations.
• Ensure BOM/routing data align with drawings, specs and shop-floor processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, planning, and finance on cost roll-ups and standard costing.
• Support NPI and continuous improvement initiatives on data quality.
