Job summary

Mattel is seeking MBA Finance Summer Interns for a 10-12 week program based at our El Segundo, CA headquarters. Interns are paired with mentors and participate across finance teams including FP&A, Commercial & Sales Finance, Brand & Franchise, Treasury, Tax and Global Supply Chain Finance.

Responsibilities include building complex analyses, collaborating with global teams, and presenting financial highlights to senior executives.

Qualifications

• 1styear MBA student enrolled in a full-time program, or PM/night student graduating in 2028
• 3 years work experience prior to business school
• Have a strong interest in a Finance career with market leading company
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• CPA, depending on group placement (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build complex financial analyses with inputs from various global teams
• Work within a team environment to develop in-depth analysis and actionable recommendations to complex financial issues
• Communicate and present financial highlights to Senior Executives
• Individual: Day-to-day and special project responsibilities within one of our current finance teams
• Group: Work in a cross-functional intern group on a project that will be presented to senior management at the end of the internship
