Mattel is seeking MBA Global Supply Chain Summer Interns for a 10-12 week program based at our headquarters in El Segundo, CA. You’ll join a team that transforms ideas into physical products and supports global logistics, procurement, planning, and more.

As an intern, you will lead or support sourcing initiatives, shape distribution strategies, perform market analysis, build lean process improvements, and present findings to senior executives.

Qualifications

• MBA student entering 2028 class in a full- or part-time program.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and/or Tableau.
• CPG experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strategic and creative thinker.
• Proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, results-oriented.
• Ability to plan, organize and analyze.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support sourcing initiatives to identify best in class suppliers.
• Distribution & transportation strategy management.
• Category prioritization and assessment (spend and market analysis).
• Evaluate options to improve flexibility and responsiveness in the marketplace.
• Establish a process framework for Sales, Operations, Distribution.
• Perform continuous improvement activities using Lean methodologies.
• Develop action plans related to strategic logistics across multiple international markets.
• Present recommendations and results to Senior Executives.
