Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Key Account Management Summer Intern for a 10-12 week program based at our headquarters in El Segundo, CA. You will join the Growth Channels account team and help lead strategic projects for the account.

We welcome rising seniors (graduating in 2028) majoring in Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations or Retail Development. Strong communication, analytical, and MS Office skills are essential, and the role offers collaboration with mentors and peers in a fast-paced toy

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a rising senior, graduating in 2028.
• Majors/minors in Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Retail Development or related field of study.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Sales/Account Management.
• Proven communication, verbal, written and analytical skills.
• Must have the ability to be sensitive to other cultures’ styles of working.
• Must have the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Strong MS Office Suite Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and executing planogram (if applicable)
• Analyzing internal and external sales data to make insightful and actionable recommendations
• Enhancing the .com and mobile businesses (if applicable)
• Creating reports and presentations to effectively communicate the account plan
• Evaluating and pitching for Promotional placement
• Participating in a sales intern group project
• Collaborate on projects within the Sales Division to drive toy sales strategies
