Job summary

Hybron, Inc. is seeking an MBA student for a 2027 Business Development Internship at our Hawthorne facility. You will work with the BD team, co-founders, and engineering to identify opportunities and support growth in U.S. and international markets.

The role covers market strategy, government opportunity research, and commercial analysis, with ownership of a defined growth project and a leadership presentation of findings and next steps.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for the 2027 internship.
• Strong research and analytical skills and ability to form clear business cases.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills for professional communication.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; maintain accurate records.
• Initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
• Curiosity about technical products and manufacturing; engineering degree not required.
• U.S. Person status under EAR and ITAR definitions.

Responsibilities

• Research target customers, markets, and opportunities in aerospace and defense.
• Qualify opportunities by identifying needs, decision-makers, funding, and timelines.
• Support outreach with materials, emails, agendas, and follow-ups.
• Maintain the business development pipeline and track actions and owners.
• Coordinate NDAs and information requests; align inputs with engineering.
• Identify government funding and contracting opportunities and summarize fit.
• Help prepare white papers, proposals, and presentations for submissions.
• Build pricing and market analyses to support decisions.
• Research partners and international customers; support teaming and milestones.
• Assist government relations with briefings and activity summaries.
