Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Fairdale, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair and recondition production equipment under general supervision. You will interpret drawings, blueprints and manuals, perform advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include safe operation, use of CMMS for work orders, and set up of equipment such as lathes, drill presses and grinders.

Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation; listening.
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints and equipment manuals.
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools.
  • Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces.
  • Ability to pass a maintenance assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection.
  • Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
  • Interpret complicated drawings, blueprints and manuals.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform various hot work tasks.
  • Order supplies and repair items as necessary.
  • Set up and operate equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder) to make/repair parts.
  • Work at heights of 10' or more; work in tight spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned.
