Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and recondition production equipment. You will interpret complex drawings and manuals, work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and provide mechanical and electrical support across the facility.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, using CMMS and Excel, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills with verbal, written and presentation abilities.
• Ability to interpret and work from drawings, blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Ability to work independently and pass maintenance assessment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and recondition production equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection.
• Read and interpret complex drawings and manuals to guide maintenance work.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Set up and operate tools like lathe, drill press, grinder for parts manufacturing and repair.

Summary

Under general supervision, safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of production equipment in compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.
• Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.
• Interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals, and other related documents.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform various hot work tasks.
• Order supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate equipment used to make and repair parts (e.g., lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools).
• Work at heights of 10'-0' or more.
• Work in tight spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation.
• Listening office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD, and PLC systems.
• Understanding of spare part inventory process.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a maintenance assessment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull and bend up to 50 lbs unassisted.
